kiddo!
well yes that's how i address absolutely everyone i know. sometimes there is a variation i sometimes try and add a 'kid' but pretty much most of the times those oh-so-very-embarrassing-times i address people as kiddo. don't ask me why i do it.
i have tried to understand it i have tried to reason with this habit and tried to get to the bottom of it. well i must say i have come up with a stupid ass conclusion-my inferiority complex. yes i know what you are thinking, if i call people kid shouldn't it be a superiority complex?shouldn't i feel mighty mature and grown-up? i guess this is how i disguise my inferiority complex. you see i am older than most of the girls in my class(yes it's an all girls college, hell basically) and well that has always been something that nags me. i never really act my age because well i try to fit in with 20 year olds when i am soon going to be 22. and believe me when i tell you this 20 and 22 is world apart. and my identity crisis emerges from there. trying to be what i am not and by being my true self am i risking being ostracised. and we all know how fucked up a bunch of women can get.
and why am i telling you all this? because i can't really tell anyone else without getting the 'you are obsessing way too much' look.now i truly understand why blogging is popular, this is such a relief to just pour out the way i feel. truly cathartic.
well i guess it's something i need to figure out for myself. see where all this 'need to be me' thing takes me.
Changed the colour of font, ooooh too bright, lets see now, hmmmm, ok i suppose but not very different from black is it?sorry i tend to deviate. my stream of consciousness is quite untamed. well i'm just getting started at this so hope to have better posts in the future. speaking of future, i must mention my favourite movie as a kid was Judge Dreed, this futuristic sci-fi movie, set in some 2078 A.D or some shite with Sly 'Rambo' Stallone (absolutely love the man, the true action hero, Arnie can take a hike) was pretty cool when Sly used to belt out the line "i am the law" every few mins (very creative screenplay, eh?!)
